| Clinical Nurse Manager for 6-Suite Operating Room The Nurse Manager under administrative guidance is a registered professional nurse with global responsibility for the quality and continuity of patient care for specific age groups identified by the standards of care for the unit. The Nurse Manager provides leadership in the delivery of care and nursing practice within the clinical unit. The Nurse Manager participates in unit employee selection through interviewing and the hiring process. Assists the ANM or unit educator with the orientation, training and education of new personnel and ongoing staff development. Assists the Office Manager and Materials Manager with unit budget/cost containment and labor tracking. Assists in the development, implementation and tracking of unit based key Performance Indicators and P.I. Program. Adheres and assures that staff adhere to the Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
