| Manager, Electrophysiology Lab - FT days 40 hrs/week Directly responsible to the Administrative Director, Surgical Services, with wide latitude for independent decision making, within the framework of delegated authority, the Electrophysiology Lab Manager is responsible for the leadership, management and administration of safe and competent patient care in the Electrophysiology Lab. Also is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of clinical aspects of direct and indirect patient care activities and customer services within the Electrophysiology/Cardiac Cath. Lab. This position may also cover supervisory functions to the other areas within Procedural Services. Collaborates with Patient Care Managers, physicians, Nursing, ancillary Departments and collaborates with the Inpatient Units and other healthcare professionals, as well as the community we serve. Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona to practice professional nursing. A minimum of five years of electrophysiology and/or cardiac catheterization experience. Must have management experience related to staffing, supply management, productivity and customer satisfaction initiatives. Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English. Spanish an asset. BCLS and ACLS certification is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Must also be committed to pursue Masters Degree. Analytical and critical thinking skills are required to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources. Must also be able to integrate information to establish business-based priorities, decisions and budgets. Must have the ability to develop strong relationships with suppliers and customers and to effectively communicate with employees, the medical staff, and healthcare professionals. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate leadership ability and group facilitation skills.
